नवोदय विद्यालय के तहत कक्षा 6वीं के लिए नामाकंन के लिए आवेदन करने के लिए किसी भी प्रकार का कोई भी आवेदन शुल्क नहीं लिया जायेगा | इसके तहत आप बिना किसी भी आवेदन शुल्क के लिए इसके लिए आवेदन कर सकते है चाहे आप किसी भी जाति से वर्ग से हो |

Navodaya Class 6 Admission 2024-25 Education qualification

• Students who are studying in class V can also apply.
• Students who have passed 5th class are eligible to apply.

Navodaya Class 6 Admission 2024-25 Exam Details

Composition of the Test

The selection test will be of two-hour duration from 11:30 am to 01:30 pm and will have 3 sections with only objective type questions. There are 80 questions in all for 100 marks.

Navodaya Class 6 Admission : Section-1 Mental Ability Test (MAT)

This is a non – verbal test. Questions are based on figures and diagrams only. Questions are meant to assess general mental functioning of the candidates. The section is divided into ten parts having 4 questions each.

Navodaya Class 6 Admission : Section 2: Arithmetic Test

The main purpose of this test is to measure candidate’s basic competencies in Arithmetic. All the Twenty questions of this test will be based on the following 12 topics

• Number and numeric system
• Four fundamental operations on whole number
• Factors and multiples including their properties
• Decimals and fundamental operations on them
• Conversion of fractions to decimals and vice-versa
• Measurement of length, mass, capacity, time, money etc
• Simplification of Numerical Expressions
• Fractional numbers – addition and subtraction of like fraction and multiplication (unlike fraction and division of fractional numbers not included)
•  Profit and loss without calculation of percentage (calculation of percentage of profit and loss is exempted from the topic)
• Perimeter and area – perimeter of polygon, area of square rectangle and triangle (as a part of rectangle)
• Types of angle and its simple applications
• Data analysis using bar diagram, graph and line chart.

Navodaya Class 6 Admission : Section 3: Language Test.

The main purpose of this test is to assess reading comprehension of the candidates. The test consists of four passages. Each passage is followed by 5 questions. Candidates shall read each passage carefully and answer the questions that follow.

A candidate seeking admission must not have been born before 01-05-2012 and after 31-07-2014 (Both dates are inclusive).
